Well Elder William Lickiss is off and running. The day started at 4am to be at the airport by 5:15. With family in three cars we made our way to the Salt Lake International Airport for the longest two hours of our lives. He did so amazing keeping it all together, mom on the other hand, not so much.
He had a two hour lay-over in Arizona and then onto the second half which took him into the Mexico MTC around 4:00 his time. I am grateful he is only 1 hour ahead of us.
He sent his first official Missionary email later that evening. He is doing great and was already sharing his knowledge of the Gospel with a women from China that sat next to him on the airplane. That is so William. He has already experienced riding in a vehicle in Mexico and said that it "was especially interesting."
We are so proud of William and the strength he brings to our family. The days are long and we miss him very much. We also know that he is where the Lord needs him to be at this time.
